Carey is the Founder and CEO of Truelist, a tech startup that aims to improve the lives of agents and brokers with better tools for bringing real estate listings to life. Carey was formerly co-founder and COO of Tomo, a digital mortgage company that raised $110M to rethink the real estate transaction and is now available in two-thirds of US states. Before co-founding Tomo, Carey led business, revenue, and product strategy and operations as Vice President of Premier Agent, Zillow Group’s flagship $1.5B business. As Zillow’s first Head of Corporate Development, Carey led Zillow’s $2.5B acquisition of Trulia. Prior to Zillow, Carey was a strategy consultant and industry analyst with Boston Consulting Group and Forrester Research, respectively. Carey has a B.A. from Harvard and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She is originally from Boston and now lives on Capitol Hill in Seattle with her family.
